New Year’s Eve in San Francisco

I drove to my aunt and uncle’s house in North Beach at about 4:30pm and scored parking RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR APARTMENT! For those of you who don’t know, parking is rare in San Francisco (as are taxis, preservatives, and persons who have never been to a therapist).

At about 8pm I turn to my aunt and ask if I can sleep over. “Aren’t you going out?” she asks.

“I would, but then I’d have to give up my parking.”

Fuck that. Happy New Year, and may parking be always in your favor!
